Welcome to the web site for The Egyptian Theatre; a 1929, fully restored, Egyptian Art Deco movie palace, operated and staffed by the volunteer group, P.E.T. Inc. (Preservation of the Egyptian Theatre). Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Egyptian is home to 20+ local performing arts groups and shows movies (the art, independent and foreign films). The Egyptian is also available for rentals, tours, weddings, graduations, small parties and receptions.
